Rimless tires are becoming increasingly popular among cyclists due to their ease of installation and maintenance. With tubeless tires, you simply remove the valve stem cap and insert the bead into the hole. Once the tire is inflated, you screw the valve back onto the stem. There are no tubes required!
With rimless tires, you install the tire directly onto the rim. Unlike tubeless tires, you must inflate the tire before mounting it on the rim. After inflating the tire, you attach the valve stem to the rim and tighten down the valve nut.
